Homestead Country Club in Prarie Village, KS is seeking a full-time Head Tennis Professional. Homestead is a fast-growing country club in picturesque Prairie Village, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. Homestead has the largest country club tennis program in the KC Metro, and it continues to grow. Within the past three years, participation has increased by over 300%. Homestead’s facilities boast a total of 13 tennis courts consisting of a new state-of-the-art climate controlled 4 court permanent indoor facility, 4 platform courts, 4 permanent pickleball courts, and in the process of building 2 indoor pickleball courts. Homestead has a large membership base that also enjoys an Olympic size pool, large fitness center, an aerobics/Pilates center and full-service restaurant.  The head professional will be responsible for providing both private and group lessons to players of all ages and abilities, help plan and run programming for both adult and junior players, and help plan and execute racquet sport events for the club’s members. There is a tremendous opportunity to teach pickleball and platform tennis lessons as well. The position is available for immediate fulfillment for the right applicant, and has immediate high earning potential based with current demand. The ideal candidate is positive and passionate about teaching all ages and abilities. The candidate must be USPTA or PTR certified to be considered and have an NTRP 4.0+ rating.
