The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), headquartered at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida, are the global leaders in racquet sports teacher certification, education, and professional development. With over 25,000 members worldwide across tennis, pickleball, padel, and platform tennis, PTR/PPR are dedicated to raising the standards of teaching professionals and promoting the growth of racquet sports globally.

Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Executive Director will provide visionary leadership, manage day-to-day operations, and guide the strategic direction of PTR/PPR. Reporting to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, the CEO will oversee staff and programs, maintain strong relationships with members, industry partners, and federations, and ensure the organization continues to set the global standard in racquet sports education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the strategic plan, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability.

  • Manage staff, programs, and resources to deliver exceptional value to members and stakeholders.

  • Strengthen and expand relationships with global racquet sports communities, federations, and industry partners.

  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.

  • Represent PTR/PPR at international events, conferences, and industry meetings.

  • Support and enhance coaching education pathways from grassroots to elite levels.

  • Serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for PTR/PPR, upholding its values and advancing its mission.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  1. Strong business acumen and operational management skills, with experience in facility management, program development, non-profit organizations, or revenue generation.

  2. A proven track record in coaching education, including developing and overseeing training systems and educational programs.

  3. Leadership experience with federations, academies, or associations, with the ability to manage diverse staff and projects.

  4. Established credibility and respect within the global racquet sports community.

  5. Board or organizational leadership experience, with knowledge of governance and non-profit operations.

  6. Strong public speaking and communication skills, with the ability to inspire members and partners.

  7. A commitment to integrity, collaboration, and building trust across the racquet sports universe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership or board experience within PTR/PPR or similar organizations.

  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets and large-scale operations.

  • Event management, contract negotiation, and international partnership expertise.

  • College or university education; professional certifications in coaching or sport science.

This position is based at PTR/PPR International Headquarters, Saddlebrook Resort, Wesley Chapel, Florida.
