Level 2 Workshop Scholarship Application

Guidelines:
The Professional Tennis Registry Foundation will award two Level 2 workshop scholarships in 2023-24. The scholarships will be granted to well-deserving PTR Pros who for various socio-economic reasons might not be afforded the opportunity to advance their knowledge and skill sets.
Criteria for selection:
- Good standing with the PTR for a minimum of three years
- Level 1 certification completed for a minimum of two years
- Current job description
- A supporting letter describing your specialization, long term professional goal, a plan to complete the Level 2 certification, and need for financial assistance.
- Any additional information to support your application (awards/clinics/volunteer service)
- Letter of recommendation is welcomed (parents/students/teaching professionals)
- Applications are open until Sept. 30th
- We will reach out to you if the application is incomplete or needs more information
- The scholarships will be announced by Oct. 22nd
- The scholarships recipients will be notified via email
The selected candidates will be responsible for registering and paying for 50% of the Level 2 workshop. Upon successful completion of the workshop and Level 2 certification, the PTR Foundation will directly disburse the scholarship amount (the remaining 50%) to the PTR. We encourage the recipients to engage in publicity about their scholarship and Foundation events; the role of tennis education in their lives; and to submit a photo and/or video.
