Job Summary: • Supports Allegheny Country Club’s tennis program including but not limited to junior tennis programming and development by providing tennis lessons and clinics as assigned by the Director of Racquets • Assists with facility maintenance and racquet events. Teaching/On Court Responsibilities: • Participate and support ACC’s junior tennis programming and development including but not limited to instruction of juniors and promoting the game of tennis and teamwork • Provide tennis lessons for juniors—private, semi-private and group—beginner through advanced levels, as assigned by the Director of Racquets. • Provide additional adult tennis lessons (ability to learn and teach platform tennis and pickleball are available but not required) • Assist in current junior tennis events and create additional events as needed. • Increase member participation by actively promoting Club racquets programs and lessons Administrative Responsibilities: • Attends and helps organize and run junior events as assigned (examples of additional accompanying tasks may include sending emails, creating draws, working to create flyers, etc.) • Responsible for recording lesson appointments, reservations and billing related to all private lessons • Responsible for submitting monthly totals with accurate record of hours to the Director of Racquets • Responsible for the daily maintenance of exemplary facility condition and presentation including courts and all racquet department areas that are adjacent to the courts (paddle courts, indoor tennis building, etc.) when needed • Supply racquets social media content as needed as part of ACC club wide initiative • Assist development of facility marketing and presentation • Supply racquet newsletter content as needed • Other items as assigned by the Director of Racquets
