CEO for indoor/outdoor tennis business

Prefer person with a passion for tennis and/or youth development, with leadership and managerial experience. Business: Indoor/Outdoor tennis clubs and programs. They include: 3 indoor tennis clubs using air structures in NYC. Two are in Manhattan and one is in the Bronx. Two clubs are year-round indoors, and one has a 28-week indoor season. They have 22.5 indoor tennis courts – 5 hard and 17.5 har-tru courts. Additional service business includes: 6 summer day camps at 3 locations; Schoolyear Jr. Dev. Tennis programs and Quickstart Tennis Programs at approx. 13 locations in the Manhattan market; and an outdoor tennis club at 1 location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Two clubs have long-term leases. One club and the services have permits or short-term contracts to use spaces. Current CEO functions: Determine business plan and strategies for the management and development of the business. Develop new business opportunities. Hire senior staff: club managers, assistant managers, tennis directors and/or program directors, facility managers, accounting, and finance Controller/CFO. Secure space and oversee central office for general administration. Determine major service companies for maintenance and repair of facilities and sign off on repair expenditures. Retain consultants (or hire full or part time staff) for Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Public Relations, Architecture and Engineering. Landlord relations (clubs and schools) Obtain appropriate insurance coverages. Certain CFO functions: budgets for each business segment; intercompany allocations; review monthly and year end P&L reports; sign off on tax returns for 5 entities; arrange credit and long-term borrowing as needed; communicate financial results to partners or shareholders as appropriate and determine distributions. Certain legal functions: contracting with vendors; minor legal matters that may not require an attorney; staff contracts; structure new business deals; selecting attorneys as needed.
