Director of Pickleball Programming Position Summary Responsible for the overall management of the pickleball program. Coordinates open play times and manages Pickleball programming, including but not limited to, pickleball leagues, clinics, and events. Promotes pickleball offerings and handles administrative tasks related to programming, such as scheduling, billing, and communication. Job Duties and Responsibilities ● Coordinates Pickleball Open Play. Establishes open play times. ● Manages Pickleball Leagues and Events for club. For leagues, organizes teams and matches, schedules in system, assigns members to appropriate levels, handles member payments and billing, and ensures scores/levels are accurate in designated league software. For events, leads event specific planning and execution. ● Updates pickleball club marketing materials with programming information. Promotes pickleball offerings specific communication with current clients. ● Strong familiarity with Facebook and Instagram ● Ability to qualify, recruit and manage instuctors Position Requirements ● High School Graduate or GED ● Thorough knowledge of the game of pickleball ● Excellent customer service skills, friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude ● Experience planning and executing events ● Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members ● Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) ● Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills ● CPR and AED Certified within 30 days of hire ● Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Requirements ● Bachelor’s Level Degree ● International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) ● Experience teaching pickleball ● Knowledge of DUPR
