Director of Racquets for RK Prop Location: Greater Atlanta Area Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Director of Racquets to oversee all racquets programming and events at a vibrant apartment complex featuring 4 pickleball courts and 1 tennis court, home to around 1,000 residents. This individual will be responsible for on-court instruction, program development, and event management. The role includes a mix of instructional and administrative duties, with the opportunity to grow the position into a full-time role through performance and program success. Key Responsibilities: – Instruction: – Provide 15 hours of on-court instruction weekly, focusing on tennis and junior ROG (Red, Orange, Green) programs. – Lead tennis and pickleball clinics, private lessons, and group instruction for residents of all ages. – Offer high-quality instruction to all skill levels, particularly catering to beginner and intermediate players. – Program Development & Event Management: – Assist in designing and implementing engaging pickleball and tennis programs that cater to a variety of skill levels and age groups. – Plan and execute social events, competitive leagues, and tournaments that foster community engagement and participation. – Develop junior racquets programs, with a focus on ROG, to build a thriving youth pipeline. – Administration (5-10 hours per week): – Manage program schedules, lesson bookings, and court reservations. – Oversee budgets, equipment maintenance, and court usage. – Collaborate with the community’s management team to align programs with resident interests and goals. Qualifications: – Background in junior ROG (Red, Orange, Green) programming is required. – Pickleball background is a plus. – Strong communication and organizational skills, with a customer-focused approach. – Ability to engage and motivate participants of all ages and skill levels. – Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of growing and scaling programs.
