ACTA is looking for full-time / part time tennis professional coaches. Applicants must be familiar with player development and the junior pathway (red, orange, green, yellow) or willing to learn about our coaching philosophy. Will be an employee responsible for clinics from red ball through high performance juniors to adults. Private lessons are roughly 25%-33% of all hours. Must be available weekdays (3 to 9 pm) and weekends. Will report to the Director of Tennis & Program Manager, & collaborate with the Director of Curriculum and team. There are opportunities in the company to move into leadership capacity with expanded compensation. Day to Day responsibilities • Assist & support clinics ensuring smooth class instruction & fitness • Teach private or small group lessons following the junior pathway system • Maintain & organize court and patios (clean equipment, etc.) • Interact with students, parents, & coworkers in a professional and polite way • Attend all mandatory staff meetings & on-court trainings • Communicate regularly about schedules & performance Employee Qualities • Team Player: ACTA is a team-based academy that shares ideas with trust & understanding that players are every coach’s student, not individualized • Reliable: prepping clinics 5-10 minutes early & cleaning after clinics • Love of Learning: the best coaches consistently learn & share expertise & are open to learning from others to better our students’ experiences • Adaptable: ACTA is a large program at 2 clubs with moving pieces.
