POSITION OVERVIEW We are looking for a passionate and skilled Padel Coach to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity and help take our Padel programs to the next level. This role involves providing top-tier Padel instruction, organizing and leading leagues, tournaments, clinics, and camps, and creating a memorable Padel experience for members and guests. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, deeply passionate about Padel, and dedicated to helping players enhance their skills and enjoyment of the game. THE CLUB Proximo Padel Club, located in Chicago’s Logan Square Neighborhood, is a brand new 21,000+ sq ft facility that offers 4 indoor padel courts, a snack bar, lounge areas, pro shop, and office space. The Club’s opening is scheduled for May 2025. A second Flagship club with 13 courts is scheduled to open early 2026 in Northbrook, IL. The Club’s Mission To provide a unique and engaging experience for present and future members. To ensure that services and facilities are of the highest possible standard. To provide our members with excellent value for their money. To be good stewards of the growing sport of padel in the U.S. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 2 years teaching padel or 3 years teaching tennis, squash, or platform tennis. Professional certification from PCR or other recognized Padel organization preferred. Strong knowledge of Padel techniques, strategies, and rules. Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills. Positive, enthusiastic, and motivated with a passion for promoting the sport of Padel. Impeccable appearance and personal grooming. Flexibility to work during the day, nights, weekends, and holidays. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable. Final candidates will be subject to a full background check. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide private and group lessons to members of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Organize and lead Padel leagues, tournaments, clinics, and camps that cater to various skill levels and age groups. Promote and oversee Padel socials, programming, and private events as assigned, in conjunction with the Director of Padel and General Manager. Assess players’ skills and progress, offering constructive feedback and personalized training plans. Ensure members understand Padel rules, etiquette, and safety protocols. Actively promote Padel programs and events with members to foster community engagement and promote the sport. Work with management to order Padel merchandise as needed. Ensure the Padel courts and surrounding areas are well-maintained, safe, & welcoming. Support event setup and takedown, ensuring facilities meet event requirements. Support the management team as needed. SALARY AND BENEFITS The club offers a competitive compensation package consisting of lessons, events, pro shop, and other incentive commissions. Professional membership affiliations and education allowances are also included alongside other wellness benefits. Compensation: Variable based on experience, performance, and scheduling.
