Hamilton Mill Tennis & Pickleball is seeking a motivated and personable Tennis Shop Associate to join our dynamic team. This position is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about tennis, enjoys customer service, and is looking to grow into a leadership role. The associate will train to eventually take on the responsibilities of the Tennis Shop Manager. Key Responsibilities: Shop Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, assisting with product selection and purchases. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing shop environment. Assist with inventory management, including restocking, tagging, and arranging merchandise. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Support the organization of promotional events, sales, and special shop activities. Learn shop management duties, including ordering merchandise, managing vendor relationships, and handling schedules. Build strong relationships with members and staff to enhance the customer experience. Court Maintenance Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of tennis and pickleball courts. Blow courts and walkways to keep them free of debris. Take out trash and ensure disposal areas are clean and organized. Secure and maintain wind screens and other court equipment. Perform general maintenance to ensure courts are in top condition for play. Requirements: A passion for tennis and/or pickleball is highly desirable. Strong customer service and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Basic knowledge of retail operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Comfortable performing physical tasks related to court maintenance. Willingness to take on new responsibilities and grow into a leadership position.
