Youth Program Director

QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking a dynamic tennis professional with proven leadership skills, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate and expand a large junior tennis program. Individual must meet minimum requirements of training and experience to include college level play and/or pro circuit level play, teaching and/or coaching experience, and USPTA or USPTR certification required. This position requires a thorough and current knowledge of the tennis business, USTA, and techniques of tennis programming and instruction. A graduate of an accredited university is preferred, with a minimum of 10 years experience as an instructor or tennis administrator, and a competitive tennis playing background including USTA and college level play. Individual must possess strong organizational and communication skills and have the ability to develop and carry out the program goals and curriculums. DUTIES: This position is responsible for the overall quality and development of all FVPD junior tennis programs, instruction, and supervision. This position will include a strong focus on the recruitment, development and retention of youth tennis players of all ages and abilities. This position will include a strong focus on pro staff training, development, and supervision. This position will include on court group instruction and off court administrative duties as assigned. This is an at-will position.
