We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Adult Tennis Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tennis and dedicated to providing exceptional coaching and instruction to adult players of all skill levels. The Adult Tennis Professional will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, organizing clinics and drills, and fostering a supportive and motivating environment for adult players to improve their skills and achieve their tennis goals. Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the individual needs and skill levels of adult players. 2. Conduct private lessons, group clinics, and drills for adults of varying abilities, focusing on stroke technique, footwork, strategy, and match play. 3. Provide constructive feedback and personalized instruction to help players improve their game and reach their full potential. 4. Organize and lead adult tennis programs, events, and socials to promote community engagement and player development. 5. Assist in organizing and coordinating adult league play, tournaments, and other competitive events. 6. Stay current with tennis trends, techniques, and teaching methods through continued education and professional development. 7. Maintain accurate records of lesson schedules, player progress, and program participation. 8. Assist in the promotion and marketing of adult tennis programs and services to attract new players and retain existing members. 9. Ensure the safety and well-being of players by enforcing facility rules and adhering to safety guidelines during lessons and activities. 10. Collaborate with other tennis professionals and staff to support the overall success of the tennis program and facility. Qualifications: 1. USPTA or PTR certification preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the adult level. 2. Strong playing background with a deep understanding of tennis fundamentals, techniques, and strategy. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate adult players of all ages and skill levels. 4. Proven track record of delivering high-quality instruction and producing measurable results in player development. 5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the scheduling needs of adult players. 6. Positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for promoting the sport of tennis and fostering a welcoming and inclusive tennis community.
