Job Type: Seasonal, Full-time/Part-time Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Tennis Coach to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As an Assistant Tennis Coach, you will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement training programs, provide instruction to players of various skill levels, and assist in organizing and managing tennis events and activities. Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing tennis practices, drills, and training sessions for individuals and groups. Provide instruction and guidance to players on proper techniques, strategies, and game tactics. Monitor and evaluate players’ progress and performance, providing feedback and making adjustments as needed. Assist in organizing and coordinating tennis tournaments, matches, and other events. Help maintain tennis facilities, equipment, and supplies in good condition. Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning environment among players. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff regarding schedules, expectations, and program updates. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all tennis activities. Assist with administrative tasks such as roster management, record keeping, and program promotion. Qualifications: Previous experience playing competitive tennis at the high school, college, or professional level. Coaching experience or certification is preferred but not required; a strong passion for coaching and mentoring players is essential. Excellent knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, rules, and game management. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues, players, and parents. Enthusiasm for working with players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
