Responsibilities: – Conduct individual and group tennis lessons for players of all ages and skill levels – Coach Junior Tennis programs, clinics and private lessons. – Develop personalized training plans based on players’ goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. – Provide technical instruction on proper tennis techniques, footwork, strategy, and match play. – Motivate and inspire players to reach their full potential while fostering a love for the sport. – Evaluate players’ progress and provide feedback for continuous improvement. – Organize and supervise practice sessions, drills, and match simulations. – Coordinate and participate in tournaments, league matches, and other competitive events. – Maintain a safe and supportive training environment for all players. – Teach Platform Tennis programs, including private lessons and clinics (desired) Qualifications: – Certified tennis coach with a recognized coaching credential (e.g., USPTA, PTR). – Extensive experience playing and/or coaching tennis at a competitive level – Experience with and passion for working with younger players. – Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with players of diverse backgrounds and ages. – Knowledge of tennis rules, equipment, and training methodologies. – Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate players’ schedules. – CPR and first aid certification (preferred). – Passion for teaching and promoting the sport of tennis.
