Tennis Instructor & Stringer
Evolution Burlingame is seeking a positive and team focused coach to join our growing team.
This a full time position that offers a great on-court off-court balance. Evolution Burlingame provides coaching services at Burlingame High School and Peninsula Tennis Club, one of the most traditional clubs in the area, and manages Tennis Station Burlingame, a tennis retail store established in 2001.
About 50% of the hours will be on court as part of our strong Junior Program (Red-Orange-Green) teaching kids from beginners to Tournament Level. We run all our classes in small groups and candidates should feel comfortable working with 4-6 players on court.
The other 50% of the hours will be at the Tennis Shop. Duties there are mainly stringing and costumer service when required.
This is an independent contractor position with a annual income of $70k and growing potential to up to $100k based on performance, adding private lessons and participating in the adult program as well.
Candidate will receive a racquet contract and should be willing to work on weekends. USPTA or PTR certification is a must and we support ongoing professional development.
